If you give to support OPAWL’s general fund, you are directly contributing OPAWL’s mission to build power and community. This donation will help fund staff salaries, programming, membership and community building opportunities.

Immigration Advocacy and Support

OPAWL is working to support community members who have been impacted by unjust immigration enforcement. We will bring Know Your Rights Trainings and Constitutional Observer trainings to our communities and provide advocacy support for those who are impacted. We are also providing care and leadership development to impacted members of our community

Civic Engagement

We are working to make sure that all AAPI Ohioans have all the information they need to make an informed vote at all elections. Your support would help us address language barriers for our communities within the voting process and build a voter outreach program that is culturally relevant and meets our community where they are.

Member-led Caucuses and Working Groups

Our member-led caucuses and working groups are where our members build community and work together on projects they feel passionate about. These are also opportunities for our members to practice their leadership. Your support will directly fund programming by our caucuses and working groups and leadership development opportunities and support for our leaders.

Support the Educating for Ohio’s Future Campaign

Support our work to ensure that every student in Ohio feels seen and heard in their classroom through our effort to update Ohio K-12 Social Studies Curriculum to reflect the backgrounds, migration histories and contributions of all communities that call Ohio home
